Timi Dakolo, a well-known Nigerian soul singer, songwriter, and performer, has released a new album called “The Chorus Leader“.
If sunlight could produce music, it would most likely sound like Timi Dakolo’s third album, “The Chorus Leader”.
Timi Dakolo’s latest release evokes a passionate attitude of love and joy, set to beats designed to brighten even the most depressing of moods.
True to the title, Dakolo’s massively husky tone is capable of marshalling his lavish choir of backup vocalists to amp up the maximum-watt excitement of “Happy Fellows” and “Premium Enjoyment” or leading them into stunned reverence on the home pride anthem,
“Men of the South”. Back-to-back collaborations with some of Nigeria’s best performers provide weight to the casual, midtempo rhythm of “Na so E Be”, which plays host.
We want to hear from you all.
